What I Didn’t Like
While the experience was overall great, I did find the rooms a bit small and outdated.
Some wall sockets were not working, and the lifts took their sweet time – I could have brewed a cup of coffee while waiting!

Housekeeping could use some improvement; it only happened twice during my week-long stay.
Not to forget the quirky reason why water bottles were not in my room—turns out the tap water is drinkable!

Not to mention, some facilities are in dire need of a facelift!

Finding the hotel initially may be a little tricky, but it’s a small price to pay for such comfort.

This charming boutique hotel features modern rooms with a traditional touch, ensuring you have both comfort and local flavor.
With its clean and comfy spaces, a rain shower for that spa-like feel, and a superb location, it’s the perfect base to explore Sarajevo.
While there are no lifts, the warm atmosphere and exceptional service make it totally worth it! What more can you ask for? A rain shower for every guest?
14. Behar Hotel, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Why I Recommend It
Despite mixed reviews, I found the Behar Hotel in Sarajevo has some charm.
The rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast options are plentiful.
The friendly receptionists add a welcoming touch!
What I Didn’t Like
The hill can be quite a burn for your calves! I mean, are we training for a marathon or staying in a hotel?
Noise from the reception can disturb your peace, and the Wi-Fi is spotty at best. Not ideal for late-night Netflix binges!
Overview
Behar Hotel is a modern place not too far from the city center.
With a lovely terrace offering views (when not blocked!), it offers a nice balance of comfort and convenience.
Just remember to have a car handy if you want to explore Sarajevo without upping your step count!
