One of my favorite spots was the tidal pools, but you have to check the tide schedule unless you’re an early bird! If you’re lucky, you might spot seals or watch jets take off. The park rangers are super friendly, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Plus, the entry ticket is valid for a whole week, so you can savor every corner of this picturesque monument. What more could you ask for on a sunny San Diego day?

The food prices are quite high too, so packing a cooler might be the way to go. That said, nothing beats lounging in the sun while the kids splash around!
If you’re looking for a day of splashes and laughter, Knott’s Soak City is worth checking out. Just remember to plan ahead for those float tubes and seating. Happy splashing!
