Parking is reasonable, and at times like Memorial Day, you’ll notice it’s surprisingly calm compared to other beaches nearby. I enjoyed spotting dolphins while taking a walk, and the views are simply stunning. Just keep an eye out for jellyfish; they can be a bit of a surprise during hotter months!
This serene park is dog-friendly (on a leash, of course) and is a hidden gem for shell collectors! The welcoming vibe from the staff and visitors creates a memorable experience worth sharing with friends and family.

I found myself at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, an oceanside escape that promises elegance with posh quarters and fine dining. I was excited to tee off at their renowned golf courses; however, the service seemed a bit out of sync. A few waitstaff were friendly, but I experienced some major delays at the pool bar.
But even with the service hiccups, I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. The beaches were pristine, and I loved the variety of amenities. Just beware of the dated villas; some seemed to be in desperate need of an update. While it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, Kiawah Island still has plenty to offer for those seeking a fun coastal getaway.
