Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups pre-cooked shredded chicken About 10 oz.
  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened.
  • 3/4 cup Buffalo hot sauce Such as Frank's RedHot.
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese Shredded.
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 pieces green onions Chopped, for garnish.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • To taste optional for serving Celery sticks, carrot sticks, bell pepper slices, tortilla chips.

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, Buffalo hot sauce, Greek yogurt, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stir in the shredded chicken and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbling and the cheese on top is melted and slightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
  9. Serve warm with fresh vegetable sticks and/or tortilla chips.

Notes

  • For extra heat and flavor, try substituting half the cheddar with pepper jack cheese.
  • Blue cheese crumbles stirred in or sprinkled on top make a great variation for blue cheese lovers.
  • For a lighter version, replace some cream cheese with plain Greek yogurt, or use low-fat cream cheese.
  • This dip can also be made ahead and refrigerated; just bake it when you’re ready to serve.
  • Leftovers store well in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat easily in the oven or microwave.
